Exchange controls for milking systems RM-20

The RM-20 is a replacement control unit for

• defective time switches
• time relays (pulsation timers)
• mechanical thermostats

in Westfalia ‘TURBOSTAR’ automatic cleaning machines.

(The optional TF-1A temperature sensor is required to replace the mechanical thermostats).

The RM-20 is installed in the existing stainless steel box of the cleaning machine, invisible to the user. Only the start button for starting the cleaning process, which is included in the scope of delivery, must be installed additionally. The operating modes are still selected using the operating mode selector switch.

Milking functions

• Control of the vacuum pump and valve Vacuum increase
• Manual start of the milk pump to empty the collection container

Cleaning functions

• Integrated, fully automatic wash timer
• Water dosage can be regulated either by time or level
• Various rinse programmes
• All running times (heating, pump, detergent) can be set separately
• Heating temperature can be set
• Detergent switchover “acidic/alkaline” can be set
• Automatic control of up to two drain valves
• Rinse cycles adjustable to increase cleaning effectiveness

Numerous monitoring functions

• Washing temperature
• Hose position (cleaning or milking position) via safety switch
• Sensor monitoring
• Level monitoring
• Display of active processes via LEDs
