An alarm and remote maintenance modem from Welba is required for email or SMS alerts. In the event of a fault, alerts can be sent automatically to various telephone numbers or email addresses.
The SMS modem also allows for SMS status enquiries, enabling the current status of the tank to be checked at any time and from any location. (With the email modem, this would be possible via remote maintenance.)
Remote maintenance of your control system can generally be carried out in three ways:

- USB data cable
Any available PC with TeamViewer software installed (e.g. from the robot controller) is permanently connected to the WTS-300 via a USB data cable.

- ESIPM-001 Email, Alarm and Remote Maintenance Modem
Remote maintenance is carried out via an internet connection using the Welba Email, Alarm and Remote Maintenance Modem.

- SMS Alarm and Remote Maintenance Modem ESGSM-001 / -002
The Welba SMS Alarm and Remote Maintenance Modem ESGSM-001 or -002 enables remote maintenance via wireless transmission.
A standard mobile phone SIM card with a data allowance is required for use.
